Emily's Test Scores

Click here for the BIG picture.

The first question is probably, how do you read this thing?

The overview of all the scores are the three columns on the top right.

The "Tests" column tells you what was tested.

The Scores column is the important part.
The scores are based on National Averages.

  1. The SS column is hard to explain and can be ignored at this time.

  2. The GE stands for Grade Equivalent.  This is basically the grade level at which one is at for that test.  15.0 is a Junior in college, the number after the . is the month of that year of school.

  3. The NS is a 1-9 scale

  4. The NPR is the National Percentile Ranks.  This is where the student stands compared to everyone their grade level in the Nation.

The NPR number is graphed in the third column.

The two bottom lines are the overall test averages.

The Composite for Emily tells us she tested at a
GE (Grade Equivalent) of a High School Junior in their 5th month,
and the NPR of 79 means she is

in the top 21% in the Nation for her grade.

The Math scores are computed separate from the other scores.

Emily's previous score was a 91.

Here are the three Skills columns for easier viewing.
